I am writing you to urge you to vote NO on
the proposed Constitutional Amendment regarding marriage in Idaho.
There is already a law on the books in
Idaho against same-sex marriage. I oppose writing discrimination into the
constitution. This is a wedge issue for political purposes to distract voters
from holding lawmakers responsible for the issues that really matter like
education, environment, and the overwhelming task of getting the Idaho State
budget under control.
Please do
the right thing - vote no to discrimination, vote no to the religious right
legislating open discrimination into the Idaho Constitution.
